Is the centre suitable for access by disabled users?

Yes – access to facility via automatic doors and each floor can be accessed via lift and guide dogs are welcome within the leisure facility.

Our beach entrance allows customers with a physical disability to enter and exit the pool during public swim sessions.

Is there car parking available?

Yes, there is an Ashford Borough Council operated car park adjacent to the leisure centre. Customers paying to use the leisure centre are entitled to a refund upon presentation of the car park slip at reception.

Do I have to be a member to use the leisure facilities?

No, you do not need to be a member to use the Leisure Centre. Activities are available on a ‘pay as you go’ basis as well as value for money membership packages. To book for activities, such as workout classes and badminton you simply need to become a Booking Member. This can be achieved by during your visit to the leisure facility or simply on-line in the 'Registration' page.

Are there lockers available?

Yes, Swimming lockers and Fitness Suite lockers accept £1.00 coins; all are returnable. There are coin locker keys to purchase at reception to ensure you will always have access to locker facilities each time you visit the centre.

Can I buy clothing and equipment at the leisure centre?

Yes, Tenterden Leisure Centre provides a range of products. Whether they are goggles, swim costumes, fun inflatable for the swimming pool; accessories for racquet sports or water bottles, towels, kit bags for the fitness suite there is a range available for you to view on our on-line retail shop available

Are the gym instructors qualified?

Yes, all gym instructors are qualified to a minimum of Focus Level 2 Fitness Instructor.

What clothing does my child need to wear for the holiday activity club?

It is recommended that your child wears clothing that is relevant to the activity they will be taking part in. For example tracksuit, trainers and t-shirt for multi-sports; swimming costume for swimming activities.

Do children need to bring anything with them to the holiday club?

Children are required to bring a packed lunch if they are staying for the whole day and not purchasing food from the centre and also any medication they require. Children will also be required to bring swimwear and a towel for swimming activities.
